Cognitive remediation therapy can help schizophrenia patients

A new paper written by Professor Til Wykes and colleagues entitled 'Cognitive Remediation Therapy in Schizophrenia' has been published in this month's British Journal of Psychiatry and reports on a study to evaluate the effectiveness of cognitive remediationi therapy on the cognitive difficulties experienced by people with schizophrenia.  It is the first study to show that this form of treatment is cost-effective.
