Improvised scenes, verbatim testimony and top mathematical research combine to create a unique theatrical experience for every audience that offers a glimpse of a life lived with epilepsy.
Join us as mathematicians from the University of Exeter abandon their computers and recreate complex brain networks using theatre improvisation techniques. For one hour we’ll bring together the logical world of mathematics and the unpredictable world of theatre to help us understand what’s really going on inside our heads.
Audience members will be invited to offer feedback and the chance to interact with the performance as we explore just how much control we have over our brains.
Science meets theatre in this interactive performance about epilepsy, excitability and all things neurological.
“Fascinating and effective production about epilepsy modelling- quite emotional too!” -audience response to Beyond My Control
