Königspost podcast
Rebecca Dell, Sana Patel and Oliver Wilcox are all final year students in the Department of German and are part of the editorial team for the Königspost newspaper in 2012-13. In this podcast they discuss the experience they have gained as a member of the editorial team and the opportunities that have arisen from it.
The Königspost is the first German-language newspaper in the Department of German and was founded in 2009. The newspaper aims to give students an opportunity to make their voices heard, to publish articles and to gain some journalistic work experience. It is especially interesting for final year students (usually some form the editorial staff) because in the German Core Language III module there is a focus (amongst others) on journalistic writing, so students can put things learnt during the module into practice.
You can download past editions of the Königspost and the next edition will be launched in May and distributed at the Bernay’s lecture.
