Malcolm Bowie prize

Congratulations to Andrew Counter, who was awarded the Society for French Studies 2011 Malcolm Bowie prize for his article ‘One of Them: Homosexuality and Anarchism in Wilde and Zola’, Comparative Literature 63.4 (Fall 2011), 345-65. The prize is awarded annually for the best article in French studies by an early career researcher published in the previous year.

Andrew Counter will be joining the department in September 2012 as Lecturer in 19th-century French studies.
