Gym Experience

More than just a gym membership

At Kings Sport & Wellness, we are dedicated to delivering a range of opportunities to our gym members that cater to all levels of experience and all types of personal goals.

Get introduced to the gym space and equipment with inductions, reach your individual goals with programmes, develop a specific skill with specialised training and get one-to-one focus with personal training. Read more about our gym experience below.

If it’s your first time in the gym or you want to know the basics of how to use our equipment, book in with one of our Health & Fitness coaches. Inductions are free and can last up to 30 minutes.

They will give you all the information you need to get started within our gyms, help and support and a chance to ask any questions. We can also provide information on other sport and wellness services we offer at King's.
You can book online or at the gym reception.

King’s Sport Wellness will be introducing Quiet Time in our gyms. We recognise that gyms can be intimidating or overwhelming places and we want everyone to feel welcome. Therefore, Quiet Time will be a time of the week where we turn the music down, making the gym a more accessible space, and helping you achieve your personal best. Strand: Thursday 15:00-16:00 London Bridge: Wednesday 15:00-16:00

Gym membership gets you access to nearly 100 classes a week, including Yoga, Pilates, Les Mills BODYPUMP and Boxfit. Our team of coaches and instructors are dedicated to making fitness fun so if you like to dance it out in Zumba or sweat it out at Group Cycle, check out our studio timetable.

From Monday 20 November 2023, Studio 3 at Strand Gym will become a new Women's Community Studio. The launch of the studio aligns with our mission to reduce barriers to physical activity participation.

The studio will be a Women-only Space for King’s Sport & Wellness Gym members, operating times as follows:

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday - Friday: 07:30 - 21:00.

Saturday & Sunday: 10:30 - 17:30

This is so that any operational checks can be done in the absence of a female staff member.

The Studio will be bookable as a private Gym on Wednesdays.
