The Workforce Panel of the NIHR Policy Research Unit in Health and Social Care Workforce currently comprises 10 people with wide experience of working in health or social care. Drawing on their experience of service delivery and management, they support the Unit by advising research team members about the style and content of our outputs – considering research questions as project proposals are being prepared, and our preliminary findings and draft blogs, reports and papers. Their advice will help us improve the impact of our work with managers and policymakers in NHS and local authority Adult Social Care settings by improving our contextual understanding of the organizations within which we carry out research, helping us ask the right questions in the right way and offering advice to enable us to maximise uptake and impact of research findings. The Panel is chaired by Lyn Romeo.
The current members of the Panel are: Renée Aleong, Rachel Andrew, Zoe Danbury, Nellie Kumaralingam, Paul McCay, Esha Mehmood, CJ Nwasike, Dimitrios Parasonos, Ben Pope, Lyn Romeo (Chair), and Paula Swift.
