Biography
Esha Mehmood is a member of the Workforce Panel of the NIHR Policy Research Unit in Health & Social Care Workforce, King's College London.
I am an Occupational Therapist currently working in Acute care in King's College NHS Foundation Trust. My clinical experience spans frailty, neurorehabilitation, post-surgical recovery, and amputations, with a strong interest in cognitive rehabilitation and promoting independence in older adults.
Beyond clinical practice, I have been actively involved in research, including a scoping review on interventions and outcome measures for post-stroke cognitive impairments. I have also contributed to data collection, screening, and writing sections of research papers. I am particularly interested in integrating research into practice to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
Through this research panel, I hope to contribute both my clinical insights and research expertise, fostering discussions on evidence-based advancements in occupational therapy and healthcare.
