Charging Towards Productivity

Within the UK, an essential aspect of the transition to Net Zero involves establishing a nationwide charging infrastructure to support the shift to electric mobility. The United Nations has acknowledged the creation of sustainable infrastructure as an area where climate mitigation and economic growth can significantly overlap.

As the transition to Net Zero mobility intertwines, energy and transportation infrastructure, it creates opportunities for innovative technology and business models. Thus, it offers a promising context for research to gain a deeper understanding of the potential for 'green growth'. Nevertheless, the installation of public charging points has encountered difficulties in ensuring a comprehensive charging network without resulting in geographic disparities.

Thus, this project aims to develop a more precise understanding of the opportunities and challenges associated with the transition to 'green growth' by exploring the deployment of public charging.
