Suzanne Hall

Biography
Suzanne is a highly skilled qualitative researcher with 20 years of public policy research experience. She led the qualitative research team at Ipsos MORI, an independent research agency, from 2013 and in that role was responsible for skills development, growing the business and embedding new and innovative approaches to solving policy problems with a focus on deliberative, participatory, ethnographic and digital methodologies. Suzanne has worked for both national and international clients across a range of policy areas including trust in government and polarisation, the value of evidence, work and welfare, ageing and inequality.
As Director of Engagement at the Policy Institute, Suzanne will be responsible for embedding qualitative and deliberative methods in the work of the Policy Institute, and developing new, innovative approaches to involving citizens in policy making, ensuring the work it does continues to have impact. Suzanne also represents the Policy Institute on the Ageing Research at King's (ARK) Committee

The Centre for British Democracy is interested in the study of government and politics in the United Kingdom from an historical, political science, political theory and constitutional perspective.
Visual Embodied Methodologies Network
Creating spaces of knowledge-exchange and research excellence around visual, embodied and art-based methodologies within, across and beyond Social Sciences.
Intersectional Gendered Violence
The project looks at sexual harassment against and among young people, resistance & activism among migrant women and conflict-related gendered trauma and pain.

Complex Life and Death Decisions group
The Complex Life and Death Decisions group (CLADD) is a King’s based group with expertise in psychiatry, palliative care, bioethics, public policy and law. Members of the group lead research in life and death decision-making (particularly in relation to mental health conditions and palliative care), contribute to policy development, professional guidelines and law reform, and have appeared in leading court cases.
