Dr Ndaba Mazibuko
Repurposing Lead
Biography
Dr Ndaba Mazibuko is a Clinical Research Fellow and Study Clinician in Clinical Neuroscience at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN), King's College London (KCL).
He is the Repurposing Lead at the KCL Centre for Innovative Therapeutics (C-FIT).
His academic work includes clinical trial design and management including as a Medical Principal Investigator on a recent academic / industry clinical trial collaboration. He provides clinical oversight for the broad portfolio of the Department of Neuroimaging studies.
He is an EDI Theme Representative for the NIHR Maudsley BRC.
His clinical role includes working as a Staff Grade Clinician for the National Psychosis Unit (NPU) for the South London and Maudsely NHS Trust.
Prior to that he was a Neurology and Acute Stroke Registrar at King's College Hospital (KCH) and has several years’ experience as a clinician in varied disciplines within the NHS in addition to clinical experience in Australia (where he trained) and also in Africa.
