Microscopy Innovation Centre Manager
Biography
Andreas holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Biological Physics and has over the years developed several advanced imaging solutions and cutting-edge microscopy technologies. He has a strong technical background and extensive experience in creating innovative optical systems, including expertise in optical design, hardware control, image formation theory, and image processing.
Andreas has led both in-house development projects and contributed to open-source software for hardware control, leveraging a broad knowledge and hands-on approach to solving challenges in imaging. Andreas has recently taken over as manager for the Microscopy Innovation Centre and is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology and innovation to help researchers get the most out of their imaging experiments.
