Tecnológico de Monterrey is a national university with the highest academic standards and with the vision to educate with leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship for human flourishing. Choose between different options to improve your academic and cultural knowledge while gaining invaluable experience to boost your career! As part of the iSummerMX programme, students will have the opportunity to live for weeks on four different campuses. This will give them the chance to learn about different parts of the country without ceasing their studies. Students can also choose to do the regular summer programme on a single campus.

Who can apply?

The Tecnológico de Monterrey Summer School is open to undergraduate and postgraduate taught students only. Postgraduate research students are excluded from this offer.

Courses offered

The Tecnológico de Monterrey Summer School offer two programmes and each has a different offering. You can choose from the Spanish as a Second Language + Mexican Culture Program, Business in Mexico, or the iSummerMx 2025 (itinerant program). Programme dates

The Tecnológico de Monterrey Summer School dates are as follows: Spanish as a Second Language + Mexican Culture AND Business in Mexico: Monday 23rd June 2025 - Friday 18th July 2025 Recommend arrival day: Wednesday 18th June 2025 Last day of activities Friday 25th July 2025 iSummerMx 2025 (itinerant program): Monday 23rd June 2025 - Friday 18th July 2025 Arrival day: Sunday 22nd June 2025 Last day of activities: Friday 18th July 2025

Application deadlines

If you wish to apply for a place at Tecnológico de Monterrey Summer School, you will need to submit your Global Summer Exchange Application by: Sunday 23rd February 2025, and before 11:59pm. If your application is successful, you will be required to apply directly to Tec by the following date: Friday 16th May 2025.

What are the costs?

There are no additional fees associated with the Spanish as a Second Language + Mexican Culture and Business in Mexico programs. The cost to attend the iSummerMx 2025 (itinerant program) is: 2,350 USD This fee includes the following: Accommodation, Transportation for all program activities, including pick up on official arrival day and transfer from city to city, Breakfast six days of the week, Tickets to all visits and events of the program, Student arrival kit and Health Insurance. More information on the fees can be found on Tec's website and students should take note of the fees quoted for "Exchange student". Please note you will need to log in using your KCL credentials. Students who are successful in their application will receive a tuition fee waiver, but will be responsible for all other costs, including, flights, accommodation, visas, health/medical insurance (if compulsory), living expenses and those listed on this webpage. Students should take into consideration that some costs for these services may already be incorporated into the cost of the program, such as accommodation and insurance.

Accommodation

On-campus accommodation is provided, but location will vary depending on the course chosen. The cost of accommodation has been included in the fees associated with each programme. More information can be found in the link below.

Estimated living costs

Estimated living costs have been suggested by the university,but actual expenses may vary depending on student lifestyle. The cost of travel to and from the country is not included in these estimates.
