Who can apply?
The CBS Summer University is open to undergraduate and postgraduate taught students only. Postgraduate research students are excluded from this offer.
Courses offered
CBS Summer University offer more than 50 courses at undergraduate and graduate levels within both classic business courses and other academic disciplines. Students can choose between 2, 3 or 6-week courses and take up to 15 ECTS per summer. For more information on the courses on offer please check the CBS Summer University course offer.

Programme dates
CBS Summer University offer 3 courses which are either 2, 3 or 6 weeks in length. The dates are as follows: 2-week courses (2.5 ECTS): Monday 23rd June 2025 - Friday 4th July 2025 3-week courses (7.5 ECTS): Monday 23rd June 2025 - Thursday 10th July 2025 6-week courses (7.5 ECTS): Monday 23rd June 2025 - Friday 25th July 2025
Application deadlines
If you wish to apply for a place at CBS Summer University, you will need to submit your Global Summer Exchange Application by Sunday 19th January 2025, by 11:59pm. If your application is successful, you will be required to apply directly to Fudan International Summer School (FISS) by Saturday 31st May 2025.
What are the costs?
There are no fees associated with the CBS Summer University programme, however, accommodation must be financed by the student. Students who are successful in their application will receive a tuition fee waiver, but will be responsible for all other costs, including, flights, accommodation, visas, health/medical insurance (if compulsory) and living expenses.
Accommodation
Accommodation is offered and a link to the application for housing will be sent to students by email in April 2025. CBS Summer University have provided arrival and departure dates as follows: Move in dates: 20 June 2025 at 12:00 noon (CET) at the earliest. Move out date: 3 August 2025 at 12:00 noon (CET) at the latest. More information on accommodation can be found in the CBS student residences webpage.

Eligibility, exclusions and restrictions
Depending on their nationality, some students may have to apply for a short-term Schengen visa for the duration of the programme. Since students are going to study in Denmark for less than three months, they will not be issued a student visa. Students can check the Danish immigration service homepage to see whether they need to apply for a short-term visa. Students, who need to apply for a short-term visa should apply at the Danish Embassy or Consulate in their home country as early as possible once they have received their letter of acceptance from the CBS Summer University. It can take up to three months to get a visa. Students cannot combine a 3-week or 2-week course with any other course type. Only one may be selected. However, students can combine up to two 6-week courses, making 15 ECTS in total.
Estimated living costs
Estimated living costs have been suggested by the university,but actual expenses may vary depending on student lifestyle. The cost of travel to and from the country is not included in these estimates.
