Zhong Chen is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Finance at King’s College London. He holds a PhD and an MSc in Finance from the ICMA Centre and a BSc in Software Engineering from Yunan University. His research focuses on financial technology and corporate finance, with a particular focus on machine learning, blockchain, corporate hedging, mergers and acquisitions, and sustainable finance.

His papers have been published in journals such as Management Science, Journal of Quantitative and Financial Analysis, Contemporary Accounting Research, and have been presented at conferences including ECCCS, the American Accounting Association, the Financial Management Association (FMA) International, FMA Europe, FMA Asia/Pacific Annual Conferences.
