Biography

Zameer joined King's College London in 2020. His current thesis is titled Developing a Remotely Delivered Psychological Intervention to Treat Depression in Adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder: A Case Series Design. Zameer's current systematic review/meta-analysis looks at associations between autistic traits and depression in the general population.

He has a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Leicester (2013-2016).

Translational Mental Health and Autism Group

The Translational Mental Health and Autism Group is led by Dr Matthew Hollocks. The group focuses on understanding the mechanisms of poor mental health in autism. We aim to use this knowledge to improve clinical care and develop better treatments for common co-occurring conditions such as anxiety and depression.
