Yuyang Sun is a PhD student in the Department of Engineering at King’s College London. He works under the guidance of Professor Panos Kosmas and Professor Osvaldo Simeone. His research interest is to apply machine learning (ML) methods to increase the accuracy of radio-wave sensors in biomedical applications.

He has a bachelor degree from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. His research focuses on developing a ubiquitous gesture recognition system based on millimeter-wave sensing, M-gesture, which mobile phone manufacturers have commercialised.
