Dr Yasmeen Ghnewa completed her PhD in Trinity College Dublin in 2016 where she worked on defining functional interactions between human B cells and invariant natural killer T cells. Dr Ghnewa’s research interests continue to incorporate both B cell and innate-like T cell immunology. In her current role, she is bringing together, both her expertise in cellular immunology and medical microbiology to characterise the immunological players in sepsis.
