Biography
Dr. Xiaoke Yin got his BSc on Cell biology and Genetics in Peking University, China in 2000 and came to the UK to pursue his PhD degree at Queen Mary, University of London in 2002. Since then he started to use proteomic techniques to study the cardiovascular diseases. In 2006 he was awarded PhD degree and joined Prof. Manuel Mayr’s group at King’s College London. In 2008, he was appointed the King’s BHF Centre of Research Excellence core post for proteomics. His research focus on using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS) technique to identify and quantify proteins and post-translational modifications in different biological samples.

Vascular Proteomics
Our group uses proteomics in combination with other -omics technologies, such as metabolomics, lipidomics and microRNA profiling, to integrate biological information in disease-specific networks that drive pathopysiological changes.
