Biography

Victoria Gibson is the Head of Radiopharmacy at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in London and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King’s College London. Victoria graduated from the University of Glasgow with a degree in Chemistry before getting her MSc in Radiopharmaceutics and PET Radiochemistry from King’s College London whilst working in Medical Physics before moving on to work as a QA Manager in Radiopharmacy.

Victoria has 17 years experience working in Radiopharmacy and has been on the UK Radiopharmacy Group committee for the last 3 years as well as teaching for King’s for 3 as a module lead on the MSc in Nuclear Medicine and course coordinator for the Postgraduate in Radiopharmacy, Advanced Radiopharmacy and Quality Control of Radiopharmaceuticals short courses. As a practicing Radiopharmaceutical Scientist she has seen witnessed the changes in Radiopharmacy over recent years with increased interest in therapeutics and novel tracers including ATIMPS and the introduction of PET manufacturing into traditional Radiopharmacies.
