Tolú is a PhD candidate in the Physics Education Group. She obtained her first degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham.

Following this, she was awarded an MSc in Physics from King's College London. Her career experience involves teaching in lower education and training data analytics at industry and apprenticeship levels. 

Her research champions intersectional methodologies and cultural competency within higher education. She sits on the NMES race equality staff committee.
