Stuart joined e-Research in November 2021 to support Research Operations Engineering. The Research Operations Engineering team works to maintain the different systems of the CREATE infrastructure, contribute to ongoing developments, install and configure the majority of the hardware and build most of the software. They make significant contributions to the documentation from the basics to more advanced usage as well as support users on the forum and through tickets.

Stuart has a range of experience across the private and public sectors in a range of fields including senior leadership, mostly in some way at least, related to IT. His current specific field of interest is managing data for use in high performance computing.
