Biography
Siu Kai Choy is a Reader in Accounting and Finance at King's Business School, since joining King's in September 2016. He holds a PhD from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
His research focuses on capital market anomalies, international capital markets, investors’ behaviour, empirical asset pricing, option liquidity, and option returns. He is interested in investigating the return patterns of capital markets.
Siu Kai Choy's work has been published in Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, European Financial Management, European Journal of Finance, Financial Review, Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, and International Review of Financial Analysis, and has been presented in a number of international conferences such as the European Financial Management Association, European Accounting Association, Financial Management Association International, Northern Finance Association, and China International Conference in Finance. His work has been mentioned in major newspapers such as the New York Times and Financial Times.
He is a CFA charter holder and a HEA Fellow.
