Biography
Simona Grassi is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at King's Business School. Previous to her appointment at King's, she was Assistant Professor at HEC Lausanne (University of Lausanne, Switzerland). Simona holds a PhD in Economics and a MSc in Public Economics at the University of York and a BA in Political Science at the University of Milano.
She was a Harkness Fellow (2012-2013) at the Health Care Policy Department of the Harvard Medical School in Boston and a Max Weber Post-Doctoral Fellow at the European University Institute in Fiesole (Italy). She spent two years as Fulbright Fellow at the Economics department of Boston University.
Simona's research is related to the field of Applied Microeconomics with applications to topics in Health Economics and Public Economics. Her published works are theoretical, but her most recent research combines theoretical, empirical and experimental methods.
