Simon Ekhammar completed his PhD at Uppsala University in Sweden under the supervision of Dmytro Volin. He joined the Department of Mathematics in the summer of 2023 as a Research Associate in the Theoretical Physics Group, working with Professor Nikolay Gromov. In December 2024, he transition to a Visiting Research Fellow.
