Research Associate in Health Economics
Biography
Dr. Siddesh Shetty is a Research Associate in Health Economics at the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine, Department of Population Health Sciences. He is a medical doctor with specialization in health economics. He is currently working with Prof. Julia Fox Rushby in supporting three projects: Assessment of feasibility of economic evaluation alongside clinical trial for OptiBreech Care, statistical analysis of health service use and costs arising from multi morbidity; and trial based cost-utility analysis of NOTACS versus standard care after cardiac surgery. Siddesh has previously worked as a medical scientist in health economics at the Indian Council of Medical Research undertaking economic evaluation for user departments of the Indian public health system.
