Biography
Sharon is a Harold Moody Studentship-funded PhD candidate in International Development at King's. Her research investigates the socio-economic, cultural, structural, and institutional barriers that marginalised Black women may face when accessing non-contributory social grants.
Sharon's broader research interests include transformative gender justice, intersecting inequalities, and gender politics in post-conflict countries, with a particular focus on the southern African region. She holds an MSc in Emerging Economies and International Development from King's College London.
