Project Title: Understanding Consumers Inclination towards Consumption: A TMT Perspective.
Year of Study: 2017, Full-time
Rayan worked on her doctoral thesis under the joint supervision of Professor Okazaki and Professor de Ruyter. Her doctoral thesis tackles Terror Management Theory (TMT) and consumer behaviour from a new perspective. With three years of corporate experience in the fashion retail industry as a Human Resources Coordinator, and an additional two years’ experience in the academic field as a part-time lecturer and course coordinator in both Marketing and Management, Rayan commenced her doctoral studies at King’s in October 2017 and is fully funded by King’s Business School on a three-year scholarship. She and her co-authors presented papers at both the European Marketing Academy Conference (EMAC) 2018 in Glasgow and the Global Marketing Conference (GMC) 2018 in Tokyo.
