Piotr has completed his MA in Education at the University of Derby specialising in second language acquisition and needs analysis of speakers of other languages living in the UK. His research resulted in changes in the initial assessment of learners within the local authority education department and was highlighted as an example of good practice during Ofsted inspections.

Prior to joining King’s College London, Piotr has worked at a number of Russel Group universities teaching on in-sessional and pre-sessional EAP courses both in the UK and China.

Piotr has a heavy interest in internationalisation in education and how it impacts students’ autonomy and creativity in the classroom. In his free time, he enjoys doing sports, badminton and underwater hockey being his favourite ones.
