Research
- Programming education
- Eye tracking
Pierre’s interest in programming education focuses on how programming editors/tools can help novice students learn, and in particular how frame-based editing facilitates the transition between block-based editing to traditional text-based editing. Having a background in eye-tracking research, Pierre is also keen to use eye-tracking in his research for computer education to figure out what programmers’ gaze behaviour can teach us about programming tools’ UI choices.
