
Biography
Paula Gumble joined King’s College London in February 2025 as a PhD student researching the safety and efficacy of prolonged ADHD medication use. She is also a member of the ADHD Research Lab at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London.
Alongside these studies, she works as an Associate Lecturer at The Open University and Southampton Solent University and became a Teaching Fellow in 2024. These roles have included teaching across all undergraduate year groups in a variety of psychological domains including criminal psychology, developmental, cognitive, biological and social psychology. As part of these roles, she has also sat on ethics panels, monitored colleague feedback to students and supported integration of Associate Lecturers into the wider Faculty.
She has a BSc in Maths with Oceanography from the University of Southampton, and in later years gained a BSc in Psychology from The Open University and a Masters in Clinical and Developmental Neuropsychology from Bournemouth University.
