Biography

Paolo Nelli is an experienced teacher and an author. He graduated from Università di Padova with a master’s in clinical psychology (1994). He has taught Italian language and culture at various institutions, including the University of Art in London and he joined King's College London in 2008. He is currently Lecturer in Italian Language Education. As an author, he has published novels and collections of short stories in Italian. He is deeply involved in the Italian cultural scene in the UK, collaborating with various institutions including the Italian Cultural Institute London. He is the co-founder of FILL (Festival of Italian Culture in London) where he has produced several events and podcasts. In addition to Italian and English, he is fluent in French and, as a great lover of Greek culture, he is learning Modern Greek. Literature, art, architecture and cinema are an integral part of his professional life and nourish the planning of the courses he teaches.
