Biography
Meredith Han is a PhD student in the Social, Genetic & Developmental Psychiatry (SGDP) Centre, on the Joint PhD programme with the National University of Singapore. Her research focuses on examining the role of parents in the development of childhood depression. This includes understanding how depressive symptoms may be transmitted to children via the prenatal environment, genetic transmission, and parenting practices.
Previously, Meredith completed her BSc in Psychology with Professional Placement at Cardiff University. She was a research assistant on the Children of the Twins Early Development Study (CoTEDS) at King's during her placement year in 2018/2019.
