
Biography
Maylis Mennesson is a final-year International Relations student at King’s College London, specialising in Contemporary Security in East Asia, peacekeeping, and cybersecurity issues.
She has developed expertise in international security, diplomacy, and geopolitical dynamics through her academic and professional experiences across Europe, Australia, and Asia.
Maylis has gained hands-on experience in diplomacy, human rights, and international affairs through roles such as an intern at the Diplomacy Training Program in Sydney.
She is also the Co-Founder and Co-President of KCL UN Women UK, a student-led society dedicated to empowering women through high-profile events and networking opportunities.
Currently, she serves as a Research Assistant to Dr. Sukanya Podder at the Children, Youth, Peace, and Arts Centre, where she contributes to studies on conflict resolution and youth engagement in peacebuilding.
Fluent in multiple languages, Maylis is committed to a career in international affairs, focusing on security and diplomacy, with a particular interest in shaping policy responses to contemporary global challenges.
