Biography

Mary qualified as a Midwife in 2002. She has worked in a variety of roles within the NHS:- labour ward midwife, providing continuity of care as a caseload midwife (Albany Midwifery Practice and Kennington Caseload), as a Practice Development Midwife and trainee Consultant Midwife.

She is an experienced educator with a passion to enhance clinical skills, management of obstetric emergencies and decision-making. She also enjoys using simulation to reinforce learning, as well as teaching Newborn and Infant Physical Examination (NIPE) and Public Health topics.

Mary continues to work clinically and as a Resuscitation Council UK Newborn Life Support (NLS) Instructor.
