Biography
Dr Marcus Weldon is a world-renowned innovation leader and ‘future seer’, who has the unique ability to see the technological and strategic ‘wood from the trees’.
He has more than 25 years experience in cutting edge science and technology research and innovation, culminating in his role as the 13th President of Bell Labs (emeritus) and the CTO of Alcatel-Lucent, and Nokia Corporations.
Since 2021 he has been advising companies and institutions of all sizes on techno-economic strategies for leadership in the coming digital age.
In 2024, Dr Marcus Weldon joined the Digital Futures Institute as Chair of the Advisory Council.
