Biography

Dr Lorna Johnson is a Reader in Physiotherapy Education and Head of the Academic Teaching Department of Physiotherapy. She is the Programme Director for BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy programme and Lead for Practice Education for the pre-registration physiotherapy programmes and teaches on a range of modules across both pre-registration physiotherapy programmes.

She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and her research interests are sustainability in healthcare, simulated practice education and physical activity in people with cardiorespiratory disease. She is a member of the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine Inclusive Education committee and has a special interest in inclusion and attainment with a focus on healthcare education.
