Biography

Dr. Liucheng Guo is an AI researcher and innovator, holding the positions of RAEng Industrial Fellow and Visiting Senior Research Fellow at King’s College London. His expertise lies in AI software-hardware co-design, embedded AI, and high-performance computing (HPC), focusing on developing smart and sustainable human-machine interfaces (HMI) for various sectors, including Smart Home, IoT, Automotive, XR, and Healthcare.

With a Ph.D. from Imperial College London and an MA from Peking University, Dr. Guo has made significant achievements in both academic and industrial domains. He co-founded TG0, an award-winning AI startup, where he has applied for seven groups of patents. He has also published over 20 research papers and won the HiPEAC paper awards. His innovative work has garnered funding from prestigious entities such as the Design Council, InnovateUK, Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng), and the European Innovation Council. Notable grants include Smart Grants, KTP, RAEng Visiting Professor, and SME Leader awards.

Dr. Guo's professional accolades include being a Senior Member of IEEE and a Fellow of the IET, British Computer Society (BCS), and the Royal Society of Arts (RSA). These honors reflect his commitment to pioneering advancements at the intersection of research and practical application, with a particular emphasis on sustainable, user-centric AI design. In addition to his technical contributions, Dr. Guo is dedicated to public engagement. As a RAEng Visiting Professor and STEM ambassador, he actively inspires the next generation of innovators, promoting a resilient and forward-thinking society.
