Biography
Laura and her team are responsible for building and growing King’s volunteering service. Laura was drawn to King’s College London because of its bold stance on social responsibility and encouraging its staff and students to use their knowledge and skills to make the world a better place. She hopes to enable as many staff and students as possible to enhance their time at King’s through volunteering, whether that be from finding purpose, expanding their perspective or having fun and meeting new people.
Laura previously coordinated the Student Mental Health Research network (SMaRteN), a UKRI funded 4 year network to connect those working in and researching Student Mental Health. We exist to fund better research into Student Mental Health and to share best practice across the Higher Education sector.
