Kay Davidson
Programme Officer, Somaliland, King's Global Health Partnerships
Biography
Kay is responsible for supporting KGHP staff and volunteers to help deliver the projects and activities in Somaliland.
Kay graduated from the University of Leeds in 2019, having studied International Development. As part of her degree she spent 8 months studying and living in Accra, Ghana. She has a keen interest in maternal health, writing her undergraduate dissertation on women’s ability to access timely and effective prenatal care in Ghana.
Since graduating Kay has worked as a TEFL teacher in Buenos Aires and as a Regional Coordinator for the British Youth Council, where she championed political engagement amongst young people. In 2022, she was voted one of 30 under 30 to watch in British Politics. Outside of work, Kay enjoys Ballroom and Latin dancing and exploring London.
