Biography

Katherine joined the Russia Institute in October 2018. She completed a BA in History Politics and MPhil in Russian and East European Studies at the University of Oxford. Her MPhil thesis looked at street protest in Kyrgyzstan, and she carried out fieldwork for this in Bishkek.

After graduating Katherine worked for two years as an intelligence analyst at a private security consultancy before returning to academia in October 2018 to begin her PhD.
