Biography

Dr Julia Muravska is a Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the Freeman Air and Space Institute focusing on Ukrainian defence capability topics, as well as an independent defence analyst and consultant. Since early 2022, Julia has also been working to help build a defence innovation ecosystem in Ukraine. She has previously worked in policy research and advisory, management consulting, academia, and the NGO sector, and has 14 years of experience leading research and analysis in the fields of defence industry, policy, and innovation. Julia holds a PhD and MSc in international relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), as well as an Honours BA in international relations from the University of Toronto.
