Biography
Judith (Jude) Dineley is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in speech for mobile health applications. She joined the Department of Biostatistics and Health Informatics in the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience in October 2021. Currently, her work is focused on the robustness of speech recordings and analysis, with the goal of developing reliable recording protocols for health applications.
Prior to joining King’s College London, Jude worked at the University of Augsburg in Germany. As a Postdoctoral Researcher on the European IMI-funded mobile Health study, RADAR-CNS, she focused on the collection and analysis of speech data from participants with major depression and multiple sclerosis and provided support to clinical work packages as part of the Data Analysis & Biosignatures work package.
Jude has also worked as a medical physicist and science writer. She holds a PhD in Doppler ultrasound imaging from the University of Edinburgh and a master’s in medical physics from the University of Aberdeen. She has worked clinically in radiation oncology and vascular ultrasound in the UK, Ireland and Australia.

- Reviewer, including for Computer, Speech & Language, ACM International Conference on Multimodal Interaction, ICMI, Interspeech, and Affective Computing and Intelligent Interaction (ACII)
