Senior HR Business Partner

Biography

John acts as the Senior HR Business Partner to the faculty leadership, providing strategic and tactical advice across the full range of people issues. John works with the faculty executive team and senior leadership team to assist in developing and implementing the right people and organisational solutions to support the delivery of the faculty business plans and strategy, and develop a thriving staff community. This includes:

  • Working with faculty to ensure they have the right skills and resources available and that EDI principles are considered across all activities. 
  • Working with faculty to ensure the culture supports their development and is aligned with the wider King's College London strategy.
  • Using HR management information and metrics to help inform areas of focus. 
  • Facilitating an effective and seamless HR service to the faculty in collaboration with the wider Business Partnering team, operational HR teams and centres of expertise.
  • Overseeing all employee relations issues, in collaboration with the Associate HR Business Partner, to provide effective resolution to informal and formal issues. 
  • Provide strategic HR advice and guidance to Faculty leadership on all people related matters.
