Unity Developer (Virtual Reality Generalist)
Biography
Joe Duffy is a Virtual Reality Developer working on an NIHR funded grant investigating cocaine use with Virtual Reality (VR) and Cue Exposure Therapy (CET).
Joe joined the Addiction Science Department in July 2024. He has previously worked with a start-up that developed VR training simulations and video games. Prior to that, Joe was a Research Assistant for Bournemouth University; where he worked on two research projects (ASPIRE and iGAME). Both projects were focused on using Augmented Reality to improve the physical health of elderly and overweight individuals.
