Irene is an Evaluation Manager at the Evidence, Development and Incubation Team (EDIT), joining the team in May 2023. She assists the team in the design and delivery of policy and programme evaluations across a wide range of policy areas, with a particular research interest in vulnerable audiences and sustainable development.

With a background as a researcher and evaluator, Irene has experience in conducting evaluations for national and international organisations, such as the European Commission and various UK Government Departments across various policy areas. These include education, domestic abuse, sustainable development, as well as European policies. Prior to joining EDIT, Irene worked at Ipsos UK Policy and Evaluation Unit, where she focused on the delivery of process, impact and pilot evaluations. Irene has also provided evaluation support services and training to different UK charities and universities to enhance their evaluation capabilities. ​

She holds a MSc in International Development and Emerging Economies from King’s College London, and a BSc in International Business Economics from Barcelona Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
