Biography
I graduated with a degree in dental surgery in 2008 and then went on to pursue an MSc in Regenerative Dentistry at Kings College London. The postgraduate programme really helped me polish my research skills and sparked interest in field of Molecular biology which led me to enrol myself into a PhD programme at the Centre of Craniofacial and Regenerative Biology lead by Prof. Paul Sharpe. I am currently investigating molecular mechanisms involved in blood vessel migration during tooth development and understanding role of endothelial cells in inducing tissue differentiation in the murine molar.
Research
Centre for Craniofacial & Regenerative Biology
Our research goes beyond the mouth. If we understand how the entire face and head forms, we can repair damage and regenerate cells. If we unravel the causes of diseases, we can treat patients successfully. If we solve these problems, our discoveries will improve health worldwide.
Tucker Lab
The Tucker lab is interested in development and repair of the head with focus on tissues associated with the jaw and ear.
