Mr Zayed was appointed as a consultant vascular surgeon at Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospital in 2008. He is also an Honorary Professor at King's College London. Mr Zayed has a specialist interest in peripheral arterial disease and he published extensively in this field. He led and contributed to many flagship research projects and studies to better understand atherosclerotic plaques and to examine the outcomes of various treatment modalities.
