Dr Hannah Pickard
Visiting researcher (ReSpect Lab)
Biography
Hannah’s PhD research (completed at King’s College London) focused on better understanding the behavioural and cognitive mechanism underlying mental health problems in autistic and non-autistic individuals.
Hannah recently joined the CINELab as a postdoctoral researcher on the Nuffield Foundation-funded Bedtime Boost Trial. She is interested in understanding how pathways of cognitive development may contribute towards the emergence of mental health problems in children with neurodevelopmental conditions. She is also interested in environmental factors that influence cognitive development (e.g. attention) across childhood. Hannah is passionate about working with community partners to help make research more inclusive, accessible and meaningful.
