Biography
Hainiu Xu is a postgraduate researcher at King’s College London studying Natural Language Processing (NLP). Prior to KCL, he obtained his Master’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania in Data Science, and his Bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Davis with a major in Statistical Data Science.
Hainiu’s research interest primarily lies in Machine Reasoning and Narrative Understanding. His goal is to construct frameworks that help machines to understand and reason about events from a character-centric perspective.
