Biography

My research is focused on the development and application of novel Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) methods to provide quantitative information on brain physiology and metabolism. I am currently working on establishing methods to measure CMRO2 (cerebral metabolic rate for oxygen) in the clinical MRI scanners at the Centre for Neuroimaging Sciences and at the Clinical Research Facility in the KCH Campus. I am Deputy Lead of the Neuroimaging Theme at the NIHR Maudsey Biomedical Research Centre.
